Material & Tool Lists
Choose a common project to get a practical starting checklist of materials, tools, safety gear, and things to verify before you shop. Check items off as you load the truck or prep the work area.
These are starter lists, not quantity takeoffs. The project size, substrate, manufacturer instructions, local code, and existing conditions determine final quantities and exact products.

Build a task-specific shopping list
Choose a specific task to pull materials, tool IDs, safety reminders, and quantity guidance from the project database. Required materials start selected; conditional and optional items are yours to decide.

Catalog entries are generic material/tool concepts, not verified store SKUs. Exact products, photos, prices, and live availability are not yet verified; confirm the specification and package yield before buying. The shopping list saves in this browser on this device and does not place orders.
Before you buy or start
- Measure twice; record dimensions, openings, thicknesses, and the condition of the existing surface.
- Confirm material compatibility: indoor/outdoor rating, treated-lumber fasteners, wet-area suitability, substrate, and exposure.
- Check the package label or technical data sheet for coverage, yield, cure time, and temperature limits.
- Plan delivery, storage, waste disposal, dust control, protection of finished surfaces, and cleanup.
- Locate utilities before digging. Follow permit requirements, approved plans, fall protection rules, and applicable electrical/plumbing codes.
